A minha idéia ao criar esse blog, não é apenas ser mais um blog com dicas de gifts e dollarbies, mas sim um meio de debater o SL através de um olhar cultural e social, que são formas enriquecedoras, no meu ponto de vista, na interação nesse metaverso.

(My idea in creating this blog is not only be more of a blog with tips and gifts dollarbies, but a means to discuss the SL look through a cultural and social forms that are enriching, in my view, the interaction in the metaverse).

Por que escolhi Trill Zapatero? Já conhecia a qualidade e a beleza de suas roupas e sempre assumi meu encanto pela loja. Porém o que me chamou a atenção entre tantas outras  empresas que assumiram algum tipo de responsabilidade social no mundo virtual, foi  o fato da BoHo HoBo não ficar presa apenas  a algumas peças de roupas para a caridade. Toda a loja é destinada a ajuda humanitária e como não fosse o bastante, Trill criou o Museu Virtual do Afeganistão, mostrando que o SL é muito mais que um mundo para namoros e dramas virtuais. Sim essa é Trill Zapatero, uma garota extremamente simpática, inteligente, empenhada e de uma simplicidade cativante. Esse é o meu motivo de apoiar a sua idéia, pessoas legais e inteligentes com atitude! O mundo precisa de mais gente assim na minha opnião.

(Why did I choose Trill Zapatero? I already knew the quality and beauty of their clothes and always took delight in your store.  But what caught my attention among many other companies that took some kind of social responsibility in the virtual world, was that the Boho Hobo does not get stuck just a few pieces of clothing to charity. The entire store is designed to humanitarian aid and how it was not enough, Trill created the Virtual Museum of Afghanistan, showing that the SL is much more than a world for dating and virtual dramas. Yes that's Trill Zapatero, an extremely nice girl, intelligent, committed and a captivating simplicity. This is my reason to support your idea, nice people and intelligent attitude! The world needs more people like that in my opinion).

Virtual News SL: Quando começou seu interesse em ajuda humanitária?

Trill Zapatero: Pergunta difícil, toda a minha vida eu acho. Descobri RAWA alguns anos atrás, eu estava tendo uma exposição das minhas pinturas e decidimos vendê-los para arrecadar dinheiro para o Afeganistão e olhei em torno de um grupo que parecia ser o melhor e eu pensei que a RAWA, "Associação Revolucionária da mulheres do Afeganistão", foi a melhor, são as mulheres locais fazendo tudo voluntariamente, ajudando suas famílias e país fazendo um trabalho incrível com tão pouco.

Virtual News SL: When you  become interested in humanitarian aid?

Trill Zapatero: Difficult question, all my life I think. I discovered RAWA a few years ago, I was having an exhibition of my paintings and we decided to sell them to raise money for Afghanistan and I looked around for a group that seemed to be the best and I thought RAWA, "the revolutionary association of the women of Afghanistan", was the very best one they are local women they do it all voluntarily, helping their families and country they've done amazing work with so little.

Virtual News SL: Quando começou suas atividades com a loja BOHO HOBO?

Trill Zapatero: A loja tem quase dois anos.


Virtual News SL: When you started the activities from  BOHO HOBO?
Trill Zapatero: I started the shop about two years ago.


Virtual News SL: A loja já começou com essa atitude de engajamento social?

Trill Zapatero: Bem, quando eu estava fazendo a exposição de arte para arrecadar dinheiro para os refugiados no Afeganistão, eu conheci uma mulher no SL que trouxe a Anistia Internacional aqui e começamos a trabalhar juntas. Fizemos alguns passeios universitários no museu e na exposição RAWA e fizemos vários eventos aqui. Também com a "Second Life Left Unity" e peacefest tivemos um desfile de moda para peacefest, que estava com as roupas da loja de Meena na "Second Life Left Unity", tivemos um fim de semana cheio de concertos com músicos ao vivo e DJs, que foi muito divertido.

Virtual News SL: Have you started with this attitude of social engagement?

Trill Zapatero: well, when I was doing the art exhibit to raise money for the refugees in Afghanistan, I met a woman in SL who brought amnesty international here and so we've been working together. We've done some university tours of the museum and the RAWA exhibit and had several events here.
And also with "Second Life Left Unity" (SLLU) and peacefest we had a fashion show for peacefest , that was with the clothes from the Meena shop at "Second Life Left Unity", we had a full weekend of concerts with live musicians and djs that was really fun.

Virtual Notícias SL: O mundo está cheio de pessoas e lugares que precisam de alguma ajuda. O que fez você escolher ajudar as mulheres afegãs e paquistanesas?


Trill Zapatero: Boa pergunta. Eu apenas fiz, eu acho, poderia ter sido quaisquer grupos. Também ajudei com tendas para o Haiti, mas eu pensei que eu gostaria de encontrar um grupo de caridade muito bem executado e ficar com ele, um realmente honesto. Há um monte de relatórios sobre instituições de caridade que não fazem exatamente o que eles dizem fazer, se trata mais sobre captação de recursos do que realmente ajudar as pessoas, e muito do dinheiro das doações vão principalmente para os custos de gestão e pagamento dos salários dos trabalhadores.

Virtual News SL: The world is full of people and places in need of some help. What made you choose to help the Afghan and Pakistani women?

Trill Zapatero: good question. I just did, I guess, it could have been any number of groups I've also helped with tents for Haiti, but I thought I'd like to find one really well run charity and stay with it a really honest one there are alot of reports about charities that don't do exactly what they say they do
and are more about fundraising then about actually helping people and so much of the money people donate go mostly towards management costs and paying salaries of workers.

Virtual Notícias SL: Existe alguma atividade festiva dentro do SL para ajudar e promover a sua causa?

Trill Zapatero: Bem a última foi em novembro no Peacefest (droga! ainda nao coloquei no site).
Eu tenho que fazer o Peacefest  todo ano no SL, eles escolhem várias instituições de caridade e fazem uma semana de eventos para levantar dinheiro com artes e festivais de música. Foi assim em novembro do ano passado de 2011.

 Virtual Bews SL: Precisamos de um novo :) (Pessoal eu estive nesse evento e é muito bom!!)

 Trill Zapatero: Bem, na sexta-feira, eu estou dando um passeio e apresentação do Museu para a Universidade do Maine, não é uma festa beneficente, mas está bom.

Virtual News SL: Is there any festive activity inside SL to help and promote  your cause?

Trill Zapatero: well the last one was in November peacefest
 oh shoot, I haven't put that on the website yet
I have to do that each year peacefest in SL, they choose several charities and have a week of events to raise money arts and music festivals that was in November last year 2011

Trill Zapatero: well, on Friday, I'm giving a tour and presentation of the museum to the university of Maine it's not a fundraiser, but that's ok

Virtual Notícias SL: Alguma dica para aqueles que estão vindo para o SL e querendo criar uma roupa ou acessórios?

Trill Zapatero: Eu gostaria que fosse mais fácil para começar, mas fique aprendendo  photoshop para fazer texturas. Primeira coisa para mim é saber photoshop ou gimp. Há texturas e sculpts que você pode comprar e há templates de roupa também, mas para mim a coisa mais importante é saber photoshop.

Virtual News SL: Any tips for those who are coming to SL and wanting to create a clothing or accessories?

Trill Zapatero: I wish it were easier to get started, but stick with it learn photoshop to make textures
first thing for me is to know photoshop or gimp.
for me there are textures you can buy and sculpts and there are clothing templates too  but for me the most important thing was knowing photoshop.

Virtual Notícias SL: Você gostaria de passar alguma mensagem aos leitores?

Trill Zapatero: Oh! no meu perfil, primeira vida, está a minha mensagem mais importante: A razão pela qual isso é importante é que se você pode viver a partir do nível de sua alma, você está fazendo algo muito especial. Não importa quais as ações que você toma. O importante é o quanto a consciência que você adicionar a totalidade da existência humana.


Virtual News SL: Would like to pass a message to readers?

Trill Zapatero: oh! in my first life profile is my most important message: The reason this is important is that if you can live from the level of your soul, you are doing something very special.  It doesn't matter what actions you take.  The important thing is how much consciousness you add the whole of human existence.
